With over two decades in the optical industry, Brandon Zimmerly has become known for his expertise, craftsmanship, and genuine passion for eyewear. Since becoming a Licensed Optician in 2007, he has honed his skills under the mentorship of some of the most respected professionals in the field, mastering both the artistry of frame styling and the precision of optics.

Over the years, Brandon discovered that what people value most isn’t just the glasses themselves—it’s the experience of finding them. He saw how much of a difference true personalization, curated collections, and authentic relationships could make in someone’s life. Yet, he also realized that very few places offered all of this in one space.

Rather than settle, Brandon set out to create it himself. That vision became Project Optical: a boutique built around individuality, quality, and care. By bringing together independent designers, a state-of-the-art onsite finishing lab, and a highly personalized approach, Brandon has created a space where eyewear goes beyond necessity to become an expression of personal style.

For him, Project Optical is more than a business—it’s a way to restore the heart of independent eyewear: artistry, authenticity, and an experience that makes every client feel truly seen.

Brandon and his wife reside in Woodstock, where they are raising their two daughters and son. When he’s not in the boutique, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
