What is a custom lens?
A custom lens is tailored to your exact prescription, frame style, and lifestyle needs. At Project Optical, our licensed opticians use precise measurements and precision edging to craft high-performance lenses—on-site.
This includes:

What makes your lenses different?
Our custom lenses are crafted in-house using state-of-the-art equipment. We offer advanced lens designs, coatings, and tints tailored to your vision, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences.
Do you offer progressive, high-index, or specialty lenses?
Yes. We specialize in complex prescriptions, including high-index lenses, progressive lenses, prism correction, and occupational lenses.
How long does it take to get my glasses?
With our on-site finishing lab, most eyewear can be completed in just a few days. Complex or specialty lens orders may take longer, but you’ll be updated every step of the way.
Do you offer eye exams?
Yes. We provide comprehensive eye exams performed by experienced optometrists. Our exams go beyond vision correction, focusing on both clarity and overall eye health to ensure your eyes stay protected and your vision remains sharp.
Can you fit contact lenses?
Yes, we offer contact lens fittings and guidance for new or returning wearers. We work with most major contact lens brands and provide support for specialty fits, including toric and multifocal lenses.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Project Optical is in-network with EyeMed Vision Insurance, which can be applied toward eye exams, contact lenses, prescription lenses, and select eyewear brands (brand exclusions apply).
If you have another vision insurance provider, we’ll provide you with the documentation you need to submit an out-of-network claim. We also accept HSA and FSA for eligible expenses.
Do you repair or adjust glasses?
Yes! We provide eyewear adjustments and repairs, even for glasses not purchased from us. Whether your frame needs a realignment or a nose pad replacement, our opticians can help.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome for browsing and most services. However, we recommend appointments for custom lens consultations and eye exams

Project Optical is located in the heart of downtown Woodstock, GA. We are located in the Adair Park development, just a few doors down from Starbucks. Visit us to explore eyewear collections in person and experience our expert service.

Do you carry children’s frames?
While our primary focus is adult luxury eyewear, we may have select children’s styles or can custom order upon request.
Do you accept returns?
We do not accept returns on purchases. We offer store credit on frames only, within 7 days of purchase, provided the frames are unused and in original condition.
