A custom lens is tailored to your exact prescription, frame style, and lifestyle needs. At Project Optical, our licensed opticians use precise measurements and precision edging to craft high-performance lenses—on-site.
This includes:
Optimized lens placement in your chosen frame
Lens materials selected for your lifestyle (thin, impact-resistant, etc.)
Enhanced coatings like anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, or UV-blocking
Custom shaped lenses with custom facets and designs
Custom lens etching
Yes. Project Optical is in-network with EyeMed Vision Insurance, which can be applied toward eye exams, contact lenses, prescription lenses, and select eyewear brands (brand exclusions apply).
If you have another vision insurance provider, we’ll provide you with the documentation you need to submit an out-of-network claim. We also accept HSA and FSA for eligible expenses.

We do not accept returns on purchases. We offer store credit on frames only, within 7 days of purchase, provided the frames are unused and in original condition.
Please note:
Prescription lenses are non-refundable and not eligible for store credit, as they are custom-made to your individual specifications.
At Project Optical, every pair of glasses is crafted with precision and care. Because most of our eyewear is custom-made to your prescription, our return policy is designed to reflect the personalized nature of what we do.
